Outdoor Kiosk

Outdoor kiosk displays for self-service and digital signage

LCDSLD outdoor kiosks combine sunlight-readable displays, weather-resistant enclosures and touch interaction for projects that operate outside a controlled indoor environment. The range is suitable for self-service ordering, ticketing, wayfinding, retail promotions and public information. Available configurations include 43, 49, 55, 65, 75 and 86 inch formats; the final screen, enclosure and computing specification should be selected around the site conditions and application.

How to choose an outdoor kiosk

• Brightness: specify a high-bright panel and anti-glare treatment when the screen will face direct sunlight. Selected configurations can be specified up to 3,000 nits; confirm the target brightness with the project team.
• Weather protection: IP55 protection, sealed construction and an appropriate cooling design help the kiosk operate through dust, rain and temperature changes. The required rating depends on the installation location.
• Protection and access: tempered glass, a durable metal enclosure, tamper-resistant fasteners and service access can be combined for public-facing deployments.
• Integration: define the operating system, CMS, network connection, payment hardware, printer, camera or scanner before the enclosure is finalized.

Outdoor kiosk applications

Use outdoor kiosk displays for drive-through ordering, transport ticketing, shopping-mall wayfinding, visitor check-in and outdoor advertising. For indoor and mixed-environment deployments, compare the wider commercial kiosk range and touchscreen monitor options.

OEM outdoor kiosk project support

LCDSLD can review screen size, brightness, touch technology, enclosure finish, mounting, connectivity and remote-management requirements before quotation. For a custom enclosure or branded deployment, see the OEM and ODM display service, then send the installation environment and target quantity through Contact LCDSLD. A project brief with viewing distance, sunlight exposure, operating temperature and required peripherals will make the quotation more accurate.
