What to define before choosing a kiosk

• Use case: identify whether the kiosk will support wayfinding, product browsing, ordering, check-in, ticketing, digital signage or payment. The workflow determines the screen, computer and peripheral requirements.
• Installation: select a floor-standing, wall-mounted, counter or double-sided configuration around available space, viewing height, accessibility and cable routing.
• Interaction: specify screen size, touch technology, brightness and protective glass around the expected user distance, lighting and traffic level.
• Integration: confirm the operating system, CMS or application, network connection and any printer, scanner, camera, payment terminal or NFC reader before the enclosure is finalized.
